Death Note ruined anime for me. Reason being that it was the first anime I watched, pretty much. After that I could never find one as good or better.

I liked the first season (half) the best. The second half got a little.... I don't know, it just wasn't as good.
But I loved it. I recorded every episode when it aired on Adult Swim.

Honestly, I hated it from the first episode. It's the most cliched anime I've ever seen, next to Naruto. Which is, admittedly, worse.

I was completely addicted to this series more than I was addicted to anything before. Both the manga and the anime. That was back in my nerdy days, but oh boy, I loved and breathed it until it was over. I thought the pacing was perfect. I actually find anime with blazing action just too much, and it just isn't on the same frequency as me. Also, being a sociology and psychology enthusiast, I found the way society was affected very interesting.

Death Note = Super Awesome
