Icon1 Bullying – What can happen if you bully someone.

Bullying is one of the worst things anyone can go through in life. It is mental and physical torture and a form of abuse and no one should have to go through it. This is a short story about a friend of mine from school.

My friend, Jake for the sake of this article was bullied ever since he started middle school. He was called names for wearing glasses and being a little overweight every day by those who thought they were “cool” and “hard”. Every day Jake would go into school and take crap from these idiots and one day he snapped.

A bully called James for the last time bullied Jake today. Jake went into his science lesson and James come over and lit a Bunsen burner and struck it across the back of Jake’s head. Jake grabbed his pen and stabbed James in the eye with it.

He eventually had snapped due to the bullying for all those years. James actually lost his eye because of this too which I believe was his own fault for carrying out the bullying in the first place.

The moral of this story is not to bully anyone; it is wrong, sickening, and not cool at all and can end up with yourself hurting in the end. If you are being bullied by someone speak to someone about it, youre not alone.

Thank you for reading.

I got something more scary... If you bully someone, they'll end up like me.

Damn, now that's a scary thought now isn't it?
And, yeah, I snapped as well. I honestly didn't have much tolerance for it, I did totally lose my mind in the 3rd grade after all.

But bullying is never ever good. It can be very very horrible to a person who is already a little off their rocker - making it worse can do a lot of damage.
Basically, the less crazy people the better. For example... Columbine.
Mentally unstable teenagers who are constantly bullied... Bullying or not can be either the path to death or life. You never really know~

I mean I often thought about killing the ones who bullied me. By plunging a pencil or pen into their throats though... Came close once, but I managed to stop myself.

You'd have to be a low person to bully anyone really. I will never understand the motivation you could have for wanting to cut down another human's spirit, when they have done nothing to you.

Let me get this straight.

As a warning against bullying you (as an admin of this advice site) don't take any sort of moral high ground? You don't tell them not to do it because it's wrong, or that we should try and get along with our fellow man?

No, you tell them that grievous, life-altering, handicapping, bodily harm is what will happen if they DARE bully. What kind of an argument is that?! Not only that, but YOU (a role model for every kid that comes here) say stabbing someone in the eye is ever ok? What!? Are school shootings ok too if the whole football team is picking on you? Hell, if someone is taking all your natural resources can you fly a couple planes into some of their buildings?

Does no one want to mention that those who are bullied often BECOME bullies? Does no one want to look at your supposed oppressors as your fellow man who is in pain? Or would that take the warm, glowing, satisfaction out of half blinding a guy for life? Compassion does tend to toss a wrench in the flaming gears of poisonous-righteous anger.

So he made a mistake in high school. So what.

A wise teacher once told me "You should never hold a highschool career against someone."

You have no idea who he would have become, or where he is now, all because some kid decided he was morally allowed to stab him in the eye. That's a severe physical handicap. That doesn't get better. That's not swift justice, that's not right, that's perverse. Imagine being reminded, every minute of every day for the rest of your life of a mistake you made years and years ago. A mistake you only made because YOU were hurt and no one was there for YOU. A mistake you regret with every fiber of your being.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone. You should take a long, hard look at yourself if you would do otherwise.
I'm not saying he was in the right, don't get me wrong.

I'm saying they were both solidly in the wrong, and I'm saying that this is an absolutely terrible and irresponsible thing to masquerade as solid advice or any kind of "truth".

An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.

bullying is just not right. of course there may be many reasons why the person that is the bully is doing it, put it just isn't right. you ruin people, or you can.

Well i just saw the sun rise over the hill
Never used to give me much of a thrill
But hey man now you're really living

Have you ever sat down in the fresh cut grass
And thought about the moment and when it will pass
Hey man now you're really living

i have been bullied but generally its been by the people who were bullied themselves. they became increasingly insecure with themselves and so took it out on me. it was bad enough for me but i find it hard to imagine what they went through as i have been around for much of their torment as well (i was one of the people who said to stop, stupidly that didnt prevent anything from happening to me though)

So basically what you are saying is because I havent said everything I think of bullying you are coming out with that I think it is okay for people to go around bullying each other? I should be saying what? to you.

I more than understand that both parties were of course at fault. Yes they were both wrong too and I am not trying to glorify that he stabbed someone in the eye, I was just expressing that I certainly wasnt surprised that one day his patience blew and those were the consequences. I have not once said that it was okay what he did, in fact I think it was awful. I am not saying "bully and receive grevious bodily harm" I am simply giving an article on what I have seen happen due to bullying. Any article posted on here by myself is not always 100% correct and mostly my own opinion and not based upon facts, I may have missed something here and there for example my personal opinion on the subject or what I feel about certain things.

Also, I dont see why you are mentioning me being an administrator, me being an administrator does not mean that I need to cover everything within one of my articles and you can make assumptions as you have done as that is just ridiculous and I am sure if you wrote an article and I gave your reply in response you would most likely be trying to say I was a bad administrator and shouldnt be saying all of that.

This was meant to be a short article purely for people to read about something I have seen happen, not the whole shebang on what I think bullying is, what I think is good or bad.

i dont bully any1 though ive been bullied. Im not bullied anymore, since I got physical strength now and friends. The more friends you have the less the chance that youll be bullied
Also the stronger you are, less bullies will have the guts to bully you, and if they do you can kick their worthless butts.
