Forum Posting Labour
As mentioned in one of my previous articles, forum posting is a quick and easy way for a teen to make that extra little bit of cash without having to ask their parents for it.
This article is to summarise what you will need to do in order to become a paid forum poster as a teenager.
Customers and Gaining them
In order to gain customers you need to advertise your services to forum owners using their contact forms offering them your services. Be polite and consider making adjustments to their plans and ideas.
Etiquette
As a paid forum poster you will need to have good forum etiquette, in other words you are able to use forums ran on all kinds of software to a very high and fast standard. If you cannot browse the majority of forums with ease then this job is not for you. You need to fully understand the concept of posting replies in threads and creating them too.
Payment Arrangements
When speaking with your customer let them know your payment arrangements, I would expect for them to want you to have a PayPal account to receive payments from them. If you don’t have one there are other online banking/payment services available.
If I was you request that the forum owner pays you half of the total amount up front, you do not want to be left empty handed and nor will they.
Give them details of how to make payment to you and come to a payment agreement.
Research
As a forum poster you will be expected to research the niche of your customers forums in order to provide the best quality service to them. Say for example your customer owns a Digital Photography forum, you may not know much about this subject but what you can do is research Digital Photography using Google and find out all about cameras and everything that comes with it including some questions you may be able to ask on the way.
Always research as much as you can and inform your customer that you have knowledge after researching the subject properly.
The Job
You are now employed by your customer and will have an account on their forum by now, okay, what you need to do is comply with what your customer has requested. If they have requested 50 posts from you, look for recent threads you may be able to reply to and post within them making sure your answers are relevant and are of good quality. If theyre not of good quality your customer will not be satisfied.
Once completed contact your customer asking for a review of your work and is he/she is satisfied.
Thanks for reading this short article on forum posting for teens, I myself have not tried any of these techniques before but I have made observations on money making ideas for quite a long time. I hope this helps you!
