i agree.. so i do wear make up cause it makes me look prettier, but i only really put on some eyeliner. and i've never even worn foundation. I hate when people make themselves orange..eeeewww

Well. The thing with foundation is that some people have a reallyreally ugly skin, especially during the puberty.
And saying that girls don't look pretty with make-up is kinda mean To be honest.
I use make-up myself. I do it because it makes me feel more confident, and that it gives me that little bit extra.
I don't do it to look like a completely diffrent person.
I use a little bit of foundation to cover up my spots, and then i use mascara too make people notice my eyes more, since my eyes is some of the most pretty things about me.
So my point is, that make-up isn't only to cover up, but also to "show-off" the things that you find pretty about yourself.
Then the fake tan. There is unfortently some people who is reallyreally pale. Of course, some people think it looks good to be pale. But most want abit tan, right?
And if you do it right you're not gonna look orange.
Soo, my point is that i think your thread fails badly. You simply haven't thought about all those things, and there's alot of other reasons to wear make-up and tanning!
Sure, it doesn't look good to wear way too much make-up. But what you're kinda, -notice kinda- saying is that if you wear more than lipgloss and abit of mascara you're ugly. ;s

no, i dont think she means that wearing more then a little lip gloss and mascara, means you will look ugly. Just when people cake it on, it does not look so good, which is true in 99% of cases.
