Girls and Make-Up
Make-up has no age limit these days, unless the parents ban all cosmetics inside the house. I go to a school that is quite small and there is a fair bit of competition as to who can look the best in the mornings and after school.
Theres an 11 year old girl who I talk to daily, and she wears more make-up than I do. And I wear a lot of make-up to school, but only because I don't feel comfortable in my own skin. She gets up at 5;30 in the morning to put on Foundation, Consealler, Eyeliner, Mascara, Eyeshadow, Lipgloss and Eyebrow Pencil. I find this very disturbing as she is not the only girl who does it at my school. All these little girls with gorgeous skin ruining it by clogging it up with make-up.
Now what I do find funny, is the older girls who have foundation 2 or 3 shades lighter or darker than their natural skin colour. They have what I all a "mask" because the only spread the foundation to their jaw line and chin line, and therefore they look like they have a mask on. Its hilarious to see them in the sun, because you can clearly see how much of a cake-face each girl is.
Heavy eye liner is one thing I hate. People always look so mean when they wear it. Especially if it is top and bottom lids. COME ON GIRLS! Where is you sensibility?? You look like you have trowled on foundation using a spade and shovel. Teenagers and Girls who are younger.. are starting using make up way to early in my opinion. There needs to be an age limit to make-up I think. Because all we are doing is clogging up our pores and ruining our already lovely skin.
It bugs me so much to see little girls younger than me wearing more make-up than my mother, who goes through a bottle of foundation every 2 weeks. (Usually its meant to be a new bottle every 1 - 2 months). Its disgusting, and it's made me stop wearing so much, because I have realised how ridiculous I look.
Besides, Putting aimed for natural make-up on, only makes us look the same. We are all naturally pretty, and putting on make-up to make us look even more naturally pretty, isn't work it. We look exactly the same at this age!
fuck society and their opinions.
