These days, I keep hearing stories about girls who are younger than me, who are having sex. My best friend's little sister is 13, and she lost her virginity about one month ago. I think it's disgusting. How can she do that!? I think it would hurt and she is way too young to be having sex.
I understand that there is a sense of curiosity, but children should know better than the do "The Humpy Bumpy Like Mummy and Daddy." It's scary how early girls are starting. And it's also scary how many girls are getting preganant these days.
In catholic and christian schools, they don't teach sex ed because they don't believe in sex before marriage. Now not many teenagers act on that "rule" these days. Sex ed I think is really important and should start at the age of Year 7 (11 and 12) so that when these kids decide that they are going to be really stupid and find out what it feels like, they will kind of have an idea on how not to get pregnant.
Theres a girl at my old school who was 14 and pregnant. The poor girl was totally in shock when she found out she was pregnant. And everyone found out and was treating her differently. I think that's totally mean. But she had a lack of education in this area, which is why she was pregnant.
Its crazy how young girls and boys are starting to have sex, and I am aware of the age limits and laws, but really, how many listen? I lost my virginity at 15. I do regret it, I think it was a little too early, but that just shows that teenagers are too curious.
There needs to be more education in schools about sex for children of 11 and 12, because then they may have at least half a clue on what to do when it comes to being safe and unpregnant.
I totallu agree with students at a younger age getting sex education .. because honestly, if they want to have sex .. there isn't really anything you can do to stop them.
the least we can do is give them the education they need to make sure that if they decide to have sex, that it's going to be safe.
Or better yet why not just not have sex?
The best way to prevent teen pregnancy is to not have sex as a teenager.
Why take the risk just because your hormones are all jacked up at the moment?
Nowadays you have 12 year olds putting out just so they can attempt to have a relationship because that's what they are taught to do by society.
Another reason I believe segregation through gender up until a certain point.
Why attack only one branch of a stubborn plant when you can take out the whole root?

I don't think teenagers are really younger than before when they have sex. It's just that the medias now talk more about it since sex is no taboo anymore. I can be wrong, but girls were getting married at 12-15 years old before

I agree. But, I made this article based on facts of my school and by best friends school. Stupidity is not Curiosity. I dissagree with that. I don't really know why they are like this, but I think it's because they don't know this stuff, or they know too much. This is just my opinion.

Not True. They aren't putting out to have a relationship. They're putting out cos they wonder what the hell their parents are doing at 1am in the middle of the night. My little cousin asked me what sex was, and hes 13, therefore I told him, and asked if I knew someone who he could "practise" it with.
I agree, teenagers shouldn't have sex just cause their curious. I dont know why so many do, i mean i do understand. But still. But then again i'm all for the waiting till marrige.

I don't think anyone can say why youngsters are having sex at that age as you don't know them and can't read their mind. So you can't say what someone said is true or not as you don't know, yous are just making your own opinions on why you think they are doing it but no one is right.
