Many teens will ask themselves and others during puberty, what is love? Is it love that I am feeling? How can I tell the difference between being attracted to someone and feelings of love?
The questions could go on forever when it comes to love and what it is exactly and therefore my answers to these are based purely on my own opinion.
What is love?
Love is a special feeling and bond between two people which is very strong. You care very much so for the other person and would do anything for them, within reason of course.
Is it love that I am feeling?
You may or may not be feeling love or what some might consider true loving feelings, a good way to tell is by thinking about how much you care for the person, if you care so much you would do almost anything for them, it could be love and not just being attracted to them. You should also ask yourself if you could see yourself with them in many years to come.
What is true love?
I see true love as being love which has developed over the course of years, when you have both spent plenty of time together. True love is where both partners respect one another and adapt when needed for their partner. You will also both show each other that you care and be tolerant of one another and progress in terms of the relationship steadily.
None of the above are facts and only my personal thoughts on the subject, feel free to comment with your own thoughts on this
