Spots Question and Answer
My daughter was ten years old end of September, she has since gets a lot of headaches and a lot of spots. She also looks very pale most times. She eats really well and i give her a vitamin each day which i think is supposed to help.
Answer:
Spots always come and go during puberty, taking a vitamin each day certainly isnt bad for your daughters health but it may not be enough to combat the spots and having plenty of fruit and vegetables and a healthy diet with less greasy foods would certainly help with this.
I suggest for you to make sure she washes her face before bed and in the morning and to also try out some anti-spot creams for example clearasil. If the spots are not going away after that then the best thing is to speak with her doctor, they will be able to provide further treatment/medication for the spots.
I have heard of Roaccutane which does have side affects but seems to work very well for most people.
If the headaches are frequent then I suggest also mentioning this to your GP.
Best of luck!
