Re: Think before Commiting Suicide
Sorry to put a damper on things, but that situation would almost never happen to anyone. No one at school would give a rat's ass if I died. My teachers couldn't care less if I showed up or not. My parents would be the only people who really cared (maybe my boyfriend too), and my funeral would have five, maybe six people visiting. How many people would really have this kind of scenario play out in the wake of their suicide? How many people would actually be so heavily affected by my death? What about the boy or girl who is shy and never talks to anyone? What about the bully who everyone hates? What about the foreign exchange student who doesn't speak any English? Would they have this same scenario play out for them? Probably not.
I get what your point was, but to be honest, I found myself rather...offended, I guess you could say, while I was reading. It just struck me the wrong way. I don't mean it to, but it simply does. Tell me I'm a horrible person, if you'd like. Tell me I'm a downer, and that I shouldn't have voiced my opinion on this thread. I just could not help but write this down while it was bothering me. Feel free to delete my post if it offends you—I know that's how things go.
