I imagine I will get slammed for saying this, but I do not think getting an abortion is wrong, purely as it can provide stem cells which could potentially save the life of someone with an illness or heal spinal damage and allow someone to walk again.
In my eyes it is not murder, as it is not a conscious entity - and with the resulting stem cells you can help to improve someones medical situation, and possibly completely heal someone (i.e fixing a damaged spine)

but instead of having an unwanted child that would most likely live a crappy life, you could help someone to walk again ... or help create a cure for cancer or something ....

Then have the baby and put it up for adoption.

Adult steam cells can be used to the same thing. And I believe those can be taken after a natural death.
Things are usually viable up to 48 hours after death.
Also, there are steam cells in the umbilical cord, which are perfectly viable after birth.

Aside from which, the chances of a successful operation with steam cells are slim to none.

Why murder a child just so someone can walk? There are other ways rather then such a big sacrifice. Because, you know, even after birth the child still has steam cells.

Aside from which, have you ever seen a ultra sound abortion? The child always fights to stay alive, they know they are alive in there.

Just because it hasn't come out yet doesn't make it any less alive than you or me.

I don't think people understand that it's not easy to make the decision to have an abortion. Sometimes teens or even adults are pressured into it. Ultimately you have to think about your child and it's well being before worrying about yourself. It's not easy to lay there and let the abortionist abort your child; But I rather would have had my child in a stable enviorment verus a really messed up one with no father and no support from family etc.

It's wrong, yes maybe. But's a women's choice.

One word:
Adoption.
That's not an easy choice either, but at least the child could go on living. And if it's an open adoption, you could even get to see your kid.

If it's wrong, it's wrong, there is no justification for doing something that is wrong.

I don't think people understand, that giving up your baby after carrying it for 9 solid months is not easy, And finding adoptive parents that want an open adoption is even harder. Most adoptive parents would like an closed adoptions for personal reasoning: As well as alot of mothers wouldn't want to see their children;

Everyone's going to have their options about this matter; It's a really tough subject.

I never said most did want open adoptions, you'd be lucky to get one.
I think people do understand, actually. But, here's the deal... if you love someone, you want what is best for them.
Killing them isn't what is best. It's finding them a loving home.
And, contrary to popular belief, a lot of people do want to adopt child and a lot of them would prefer a baby.

And again, I'll say that if something is wrong then there is no justification. It is a tough subject, but selfish people make justifications to their actions - to make it seem like less of a big deal. If you don't treat it like it's alive then hurting or killing it doesn't seem like a big deal. However, just because you say it's not alive, doesn't make it true.

Killing is wrong, end of story.


And as horrible as it may sound to say this... adoption is actually a better option for the mothers.
Why? A lot of the times, they can be paid for giving up their baby whereas for an abortion, you pay to have one.
Not to mention child support and all that.

The thing of the matter is people can sit and rant about how abortions are killings blah blah but it's a women's choice and no one should have judgement on a person because of their decision for their child. IF you love someone if you want what's best; Some people believe it's abortions because of reasoning within their selves.

Even when putting up a child for adoption, the parent may seem like they have together when they go through the evulations etc, but the script can turn as soon the child hits the home; Just because they clear of things on paper but it doesn't mean anything physically.

The only way anyone's going to understand what it is like to have an abortion and the emotions after it is to have one.
