Icon1 Waking up the right way!

Many people will wake up in the morning, get cleaned, get dressed and leave for school, work or college forgetting one of the most important things of the day.

Breakfast! We all need to eat breakfast in order to kick start our day with good vitamins and minerals for our bodies.

Why bother?

In the morning your metabolism has only just started and is in maximum calorie burning mode. It is the best time of the day to eat with the night time being the worst. With this it means that eating your breakfast is a very good thing and should not be skipped, make time for it, even if you are in a rush.

What should I eat for my breakfast then?

I like to eat a few things myself for my breakfast and vary it each day, the following is a few things you could eat for your breakfast on different days-

Monday Breakfast – two slices of toast and a cup of tea.
Tuesday Breakfast – A bowl of All Bran breakfast cereal with a teaspoon of sugar on it.
Wednesday Breakfast – A bowl of Cornflakes with a little sugar on top.
Thursday Breakfast – Sliced apple over Weetabix.
Friday Breakfast – A Ham and Cheese Sandwich.
Saturday Breakfast – A bowl of Cheerios with lots of milk on! Not so healthy but still a very good kick start.
Sunday Breakfast – A bowl of cereal and jam on toast.

It is a good idea to keep your breakfast healthy even though it may be burned off quite quickly. Some of the above is not so healthy but a lot of it is minus the sugar.

I refuse to eat my breakfast!

Some people just will not eat breakfast at all and will skip it every day of their lives. This is normal but we should all eat breakfast as it is what our body needs in the morning.

Don’t suffer in hunger all day, get some breakfast and make your body smile

Thank you for reading my short article on eating breakfast and making sure you leave the house with some food inside you.

If you need any further advice on foods, breakfast or anything else, please post your questions on the forums.
