Icon1 Teens Seeking Advice

There is so many teenagers out there who feel ostracised and alone, many will need desperate advice but not have a clue of where to seek it and get it from. Some will want to seek advice from their family but in some circumstances it isnt possible due to family problems and in some cases abuse. Others may seek advice from their friends but even then they may see it as being awkward asking and they may feel embarrassed about opening up to their best mates.

Someone to trust

When seeking advice you should always seek it from someone you trust. Never seek advice and pour your heart out to someone who you dont trust and could spread around what you have sought from them and said to them. If you cant trust your friends or family, our teen forums is a great place to seek advice on all subjects. Even if you cant discuss it publically you can in private in our private support forums.

Another place to seek advice is your doctor. You may see them as someone who can help your sore foot but theyre also there to listen and even refer you to counsellors who will be able to listen to you in weekly sessions, possibly even more often than that. What you tell them is confidential.

Dont be scared to ask

Something I have learned is never be afraid to ask someone for their advice on something. If you trust the person you shouldnt worry about anything as the person will keep what you say private.

Teen Forumz is Always here

Us at teenforumz.com are always here night and day to listen and advise you on anything you would like advice on. We are here for you and will help you as much as we can.

Thank you for reading my short article on asking and seeking advice for teens. If you are in need of some advice dont hesitate to create a thread in the applicable forum or seek private support from our Support Team.
