Sometimes it would be easy to agree, that in comparison to living, death is by far the easier option. What do we even live for anyway? Taking a look at the bigger picture all life consists of is: socialising, working, dying. Of course no one really knows what happens when you die, perhaps you start over again, perhaps you go into nothingness. The overall assumption is that everything you've done in your life becomes void once you day. I would even say that everything you do in life is void anyway.
Either way life is pointless. Living is pointless, the effort used to deal with stupid problems is pointless.

Personally, I think because it's pointless is the point.
Yes, we all die in the end, so it doesn't really matter anyway... yet we all just don't up and kill ourselves.
Why? Fuck if I know. I'm only human, I don't know all this shit.
Point is, we do, if it's for a reason or by accident - it doesn't matter to me, point is, we are here, we are living and us not having died out obviously means we are supposed to be here. So that's a good enough reason for me to keep living.
Also if there really is nothing after death, then I really wouldn't want my life to be a miserable piece of rotting shit to die with the knowledge that hell, there's no afterlife, my whole life was nothing, I left nothing at all behind - my life was nothing at all.
If there really is no afterlife then I'd rather live and make some sort of Legacy.
Also life isn't supposed to be easy, it never has been and never will be. Death is easy, that's why I only use it to get off on and nothing else.
Although nothing in my life is void. Why? Because I'm leaving a motherfucking Legacy behind me. Your life and everyone elses life can be void if you so choose it, but I'm going to shape the lives of others which will in-turn help them change others even without them realizing it.
That'll be my Legacy. The first Domino in a long Train.
