I'm a girl, and for most of my teenage life I've been addicted to video games. I've got a PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, as well as my trusty PC. Throughout high school I participated in a computer science course, and I was one of only two girls in a class of about twenty five. I know how to program in most languages, from Java to CSS. And I am constantly engaged in World of Warcraft, and play almost every day for at least a short amount of time.

What about you? Are there any other girls out there who play video games? Or is this little thread going to be lost to the void? I think that girl gamers are a small but steadily growing minority. But still, I rarely find another girl who's my age and plays like I do.

So give a shout out! Or just talk about games in general. Start rambling about Fallout 3 and I'll join right in. I'm kinda bored. *points to mood*

I'm not a female, but I do know that there are tons of females interested in computers and gaming. On even the oldest FPS and MMOs you'll find a good amount of females. It's actually quite more common than some people may thing.

I'm not allowed to have any of those gaming systems. My dad says he'd never see me if I got it.
They hardly see me as-is after all. XD

I play Need 4 Speed, Sims 3, Counter Strike...but I rarely play them becuz i'm usually busy I also play online games

games, really do bore me.. the only game you'll ever catch me on is sims or lips on my brothers xbox

seeing as last time i went to a party i spent the whole time playing fable, i think im a gamer.

I guess you could call me a girl gamer .. but I don't play many "video games" .. I'm a hopeless addicted World of Warcraft loser .. :]
