Well not depressing, I just.. I don't know. But when I log on and see a friend's status that says something along the lines of "OMG last night was so fun" and it's clear you were not invited, makes a person feel kind of down and unwanted.

Also, seeing pictures of girls you go to school with who always have perfect hair, perfect skin and perfect figures makes me feel unsatisfied. But that's probably just my extremely low self-confidence but still being reminded every time you log on doesn't really help.

So I was thinking of maybe leaving Facebook for a while, I don't really use it to stay in touch with anyone, prefer to meet up with my friends face to face. And I was wondering whether anyone else feels like this or thinks I'm just being stupid.

I can't stand facebook personally. I had it for about 2 weeks then just deleted my account. I prefer to meet up with my friends face to face, and I've had no trouble whatsoever keeping in touch with them without the use of facebook so I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble either.

I don't really see the appeal of facebook, I know some people enjoy it/get addicted to it, but if it's not something you're enjoying or it's getting you down there's not a lot of point having it.

That's three of us, I don't even have a FB account.

It seems artificial to me, and i don't really like that sort of thing.

If you don't like the way you feel being there, don't go! And no, it's not 'Silly', actually, it shows good judgement to recognize that something doesn't work for you and instead of continuing, to stop.
