I heard a few good things about the game and decided to try it out. If you're a fan of RPG's (particularly ones based in a fantasy-type universe), then chances are you'll enjoy this game.

It was voted 2007's best RPG, which is strange because I'd never heard of it. It is quite an enjoyable game, let down by a few flaws , but worth picking up for £15-£20.

I recommend buying the Platinum version. It's better than the original because;

A) It features all the graphical, technical and gameplay improvements, as well as the additionally side-quests found in the Extended Edition of the game, and...

B) Adds an additional 5 new side-quests, the ability to play the game without the disc, the latest patch pre-installed, and bonus content (soundtrack I think).

The flaws I mentioned earlier are, in my opinion;

1) Voice-acting is terrible for some characters, and the lip-sync is practically non-existent.

2) The cut-scenes are a bit bland. The opening scene for Act 1 had potential but it was rushed and there was a lack of detail.

3) Character animations/movement during cut-scenes is a bit...meh.

4) 'tis a bit weird.

But yeah, if you're a fan of RPG's, have £20, and/or want a new game, I recommend trying it out. Apparently it's got over 90 hours worth of game-play so it'll keep you occupied at 'least.

The actual fighting isn't amazing in all fairness. Essentially all you have to do is click on a target to initiate combat, then click again at the correct moment to continue the "combo", else you have to start again.

It depends what you want from a game in all fairness. The game is supposed to have a very good story and is 90 hours long, so if that sounds appealing to you then you may as well give it a shot.

The only games I know you play Rita are MW2 and CSS so I'm not sure if you'll like it. =/

i also play sims, flight simulator... mostly, i play everything that has to do with the army, or the air force... then i play board and card games and i play harry potter because i looovee magic games and stuff.. i saw a video on youtube.. it didn't sound very appealing to me because it looks like the prince of persia game or something.. of course i might be wrong... but....
