Is it worth the $100? As soon as I have about $250, I plan on buying a Wii and Wii Fit but I'm wondering how you guys like the Wii.

Review it 1-10 stars, please; and let me know if you recommend it to me or not.

Assuming you enjoy jumping up-and-down and waving your arms frantically in the air whilst having fun with friends, the Wii would be an 8/10.

If you're wanting to show off what your HD TV can do (if you have one), you want a game with a good storyline, or something that will last you a while, get a PS3/Xbox 360.

I've only played the Wii once and I didn't really enjoy it. I was playing a Mario Kart game and the controls (and by that I mean the wheel accessory) was so horrid to use I ended up plugging in an old GameCube controller.

My opinion doesn't really count for much though and I recommend you wait for others to reply.

By the way; EDIT: It's $200. I was thinking $100 because of the Wii Fit Plus.

i love wii.. i'd buy it if i could affor it.. for me, it's totally worth it.

My girlfriend's got a wii and wii fit and she loves it. I always find it good fun to go on when I go round. Not something I'd personally invest in because most of the games on wii seemed to be "casual" games and there aren't many games I could see myself going on reguarly, or at least not unless I had friends round, so it wouldn't be worth me paying that money to have something I wouldn't go on that much. In saying that it is really good fun when there is a few of you.
