Default TV tuner for monitor?

Are their any products that allow for a tv turner to be plugged directly into a PC monitor? Getting cable back and redoing room so I'll have two screens, one of those screens will be facing down my bed.

I bought this for connecting my digital TV box to my PC monitor. I think it's great.

You can switch between PC input or TV input, both of which include a stereo audio channel. It has loads of features and comes with various adapters to connect your hardware together.

Would a little something like this work? Also came to the conclusion that a converter box would be best, I have already. Wanting to order from Radioshack because I don't have a credit card and with them I can buy with a giftcard and have it sent to the store.

Yep. That's pretty similar to the one I have. That would solve your problems.

Little update on this:

realized that with the cable package mom bought were getting DVR. Last time we had Mediacom I unhooked everything when we got rid of it and inspected everything (as always), remembered it had a VGA output on the pack (maybe two). If its got a audio output I'm good (monitor has built in speakers in back, flat screen).
