Heya! I just bought The Sims 3 Ambitions recently and I have a problem. When I tried to play a few hours ago, it said that I should update it. Usually I ignore this message but today I did click the update button. When it finished, another update thing started and I canceled it because I didn't want to wait to play my game. Now, I can't get into my game at all! I don't know how to fix it.. I tried reinstalling it, but that doesn't work. I have no idea what to do..
Uninstall (including downloadable content) and then reinstall with the update as soon as it offers. Alternatively, check the official Maxis Sims 3 website for a patch.
Otherwise, you can system restore to the point before you messed around with the update, e.g. the day before.

If not, do it. I'm beginning to get the impression that 50% of TF is populated by literate parrots/sentient mirrors.
