Default Renaming C:\Users\Username

I really need to rename the folder located at C:\Users\Username in Windows 7. I have renamed the accounts name and also the PC's name but the folder above doesnt change with it. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thank you

Changing the account's name should've done it. Restart your computer.

I have done several times but still I am stuck with the wrong folder name there. All that has changed that I can see is the personal folder which is now named Michael and I login with Michael too. If I browse to C:\Users\username it still says Kerry which is read only.

You can try the steps in this website. It's too complicated for me, lol so I don't know if it'll work.

My computer is having the same problem. Seeing as it was my father's old PC, it still has his name there even though the login details have changed. I've tried manually changing it but it doesn't allow me to. I'll try what iMpAkT reccomended, thanks!

I have decided to leave this, I am getting my new hard drive Tuesday so I will have to reinstall again anyway as this one seems to be going.
