TV/HiFi remote control
Right, here's the puzzle for y'all to solve.
I have just connected the audio output from my TV to the Auxiliary input of my HiFi. The only problem is, the volume control for the TV doesn't control the audio output, just the internal speakers. I can control the volume of the Aux input using the HiFi controls but I don't have a remote for the HiFi so I have to get up every time.
You challenge is to figure out how I can control the volume of the TV audio out / HiFi Aux in remotely.
Currently, I control the volume of the TV with the Sky remote so if I could use the Sky remote to control the HiFi volume, that would be epic. I'm sure it's possible, you just need the right IR codes or something.
Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.
