Default Spyware questions

Do you know how to combat a Spyware if it has been put on your computer? Just wondering how many of us know how to rid our computer of things like this

How do you combat it? Do you try to protect your PC from it, if so, how?

It can be that, it allows for data on your PC to pour back to another computer or so that someone can create money from you having it installed, it can also be malicious causing problems for your internet connectivity. Last night I had a form of Spyware and what it was doing was blocking me from visiting any site that could help get rid of it deliberately, all other sites worked fine. I had to use Kerrys laptop to download the program and program updates just to get rid of it. I hate Spyware so much.

I dont think they really care so much about who theyre spying on its more about making money, stealing details from a person, serving advertisements and forced popups on a computer which other people pay to display. I dont think its really meant to be for fun, it can be quite a nuisance when it bogs down your PC.

Try this free program out and post up your results if you would like:

http://www.safer-networking.org/pt/index.html

(Portugese Page)

Make sure to run the update at the start when it goes through the steps, I think you will have 3 at the very least on your PC.

You need to download the program Spybot Search and Destroy, it will search your computer for Spyware and also fix any problems, most computers have at least a few Spyware on that hasnt had this program ran before.

I thought the English may have been a little confusing as the site is already confusing enough to browse in English.
