I have never understood that when say an ISP goes down in your area that youre not reimbursed for the time you were receiving services, for example my aunty was recently cut off the internet for two days due to maintenance and no reimbursement was offered at all, surely we should be entitled to as much as the downtime days cost ourselves. What do you think about this?

If you mean as for she's paying for internet, and not being refunded, then I disagree with you. I'm pretty sure that she only pays for it when she's using it. Depending on the amount of pages you visit, things you load.. etc.

But I agree that if you have a job online or something, they can't just disconnect your internet on you for days at a time.

In Australia they do it with some companies. That's strange that they don't.
