Under Siege

Well this is a new game which was created here, in Portugal. It's being testes now in England and it will be released in October i think. the price will be from 10€ to 20€. it's for PS3 ..

what do you think of it?

this is medieval and you have allys and stuff. basically, you have to create a city (i think) and protect from enemies...

Looks really good, I really hope theyre allowing players to position and build castle walls themselves before they get attacked, thats one thing I love to see in games like these, Stronghold being one of my favourite PC games. I dont know what the robot at the end was all about but still it looks very good, the graphics if thats the gameplay graphics at the end look great.

i think they are giants meaning it's the tougher army piece.

you can even change the ground as in if it is a mountain, you can turn it into flat ground. at least it was what the guy said (i saw this game on the news). so yes, you can build the castle wall. i find this ame similar to ikariam, which i play a lot, but ikariam is for PC and it's more of a online game. you cannot play it offline.

Is it free? I tend to like most castle building type games.

I will make sure I keep an eye out for this when its released, do you know when that will be?

it just said it would be released on autumn for the rest of the world. well i think the main purpose of this game is more to build a whole city dtarting from a single house to a huge kindgom... like ikariam... i think the castle wall only exists because it protects the city from the enemies...

Is Ikarium free? I really like the sounds of it, sounds like an advanced Stronghold.

yeah.. and it's cool because it's extended to .pt, .en ,....

so my adress would be:

pt.ikariam.com

something like that. we usually speak portuguese because it's .pt but you can play in .en where most of people are english. though here, in .pt, some brasilians tend to join as well, so probably american or some other will too in .en

it has lots of worlds. the world's name is always a greek letter. my world is Kappa. this new world opened on june, 15th. it's covenient to play whenever a new world starts.. otherwise as you don't have any ally yet, all people will steal your things because they are more evoluted than you and so they have more army than you do

Oh I never realised that it is a browser game, I couldnt possibly play it now , I could never get into one like I can with games you install to your hard drive. The concept of it does sound good, like a 3D Civilisation without the turn based stuff.

the cool thing about ikariam is that you don't have to install anything.... anything at all. you just have to sign in and care about your people and stuff

I am going to have a look at its gameplay videos, it could be good for all I know and I could be judging a book by its cover here.
