Well there you go. I noticed the difference heaps! I used to run a dual core and it
could not possibly keep up and would lag and then after I got a quad it was
perfectly fine (this was on high setting)

My settings wouldn't even allow me
to put it on Extreme with the dual. Games open and windows starts up much
faster too.

I think I will be asking him about this then, hes normally not wrong with most things

I will get to find out myself soon when Kerry gets her e8400 system up and running fully, she only needs the PSU and graphics card now.

Yer well he probs knows more then me. I suppose it depends on all parts in your computer and what you do etc.

OOH! What graphics card and psu is Kerry gonna get?

The PSU is a CIT 700 watts and an 8800GTX, its perfectly fine for her needs and still an alright card

It covers future expansion mainly like if she wants to add some more drives or upgrade the graphics card. She was considering an 800 watts we found for the same price as the 700 but the 700 is a better brand and probably more reliable.

Quite a few yeah but nowhere near to the amount I play, I tend to spend most my time gaming when something like a new COD is released, I tend to skip most of the rubbish that is released in between each really good game release. Im currently playing Enslaved which is great for a platformer.
