Does anybody like video games but feel shooting games are a waste of time. So are sport games. Shooting games simulate how it feels to me in the middle of a shoot-out. To me, it actually changes a child's mind at especially young ages. In real life, MW2 will NOT teach you how to hold a handgun efficiently and shoot someone. NFL2011 will NOT teach you how to tackle someone. If this offends anyone, I am sorry. My video game taste are more RPG or strategy related. Games like Minecraft and Dungeon Fighter should be praised more than these FPS and sport games. So once again I shall ask, does anyone feel this way also?

the point of video games isn't to learn a skill. It's to have fun. Now, you don't find them fun, that's simple. I don't either. I mostly hate the people who play it because i think they're assholes. Now, you're point brings you to RPG games. Playing pokemon will not teach you how to tame animals, but why is it that you find it fun still?

It's just what you find fun or not. I think you're putting more reason behind it than needs to be there.

Most people feel that they will gain some type of skill from playing these games, the point is to have fun. What I said about RPGs and strategy, I love them because they give you so much freedom and they let you build upon your own play style. Like the infamous Final Fantasy, you can make all warriors or may I even say all white mages. I love the freedom the give you and the puzzles, most of them give you.

So you play game to have fun, but everyone else doesn't? It doesn't make sense really.

But to agree with you, I LOVE RPG and strategy games. I love critical thinking, interaction, puzzles, and just deep thinking.

I fancy myself a philosopher and a wordsmith of sorts.

If I wanted to know how to hold a gun and kill someone, I would actually do that. Do you want me to kill someone to prove my point?

As For Games, their like Movies, you experience them for a new perspective. Don't get technical wit me boi! XD
