Hmmm... depends, not really for me o:
How long do you stay on Facebook?
Suddenly my eyes are open
Everything comes into focus, oh!
We are all illuminated,
Lights are shining on our faces
We are, we are blinded ! We are, we are blinded !
Yeah it gets boring at some point... :p Tumblr cheers me up a lot more though. ^__^

Do you read people's page, talk to them, comment, etc? If so, then you have really depressing friends, or you have some weird thing against doing that stuff.
However, if you just go on facebook and stare at your page or something and do nothing, then yes. it's boring. so i don't really know what you mean.
Also, at your display picture.. Do you realize how many sea worlds are in the US and Canada? Yeah that's like two. Two places for kids and people to go and be amazed by their own eye's to see the amazing creatures of our planet and learn to love them and learn about them, which there for helps conservation so incredibly much. So yes, one killer whale may not have the perfect whole ocean to live in, however, that one killer whale leads to saving thousands if not hundreds of thousands of them. With people we need to learn/see things basically to fall in love with them. We need our hearts lit up and our imaginations fed, if we don't pay attention or don't look at things, we won't really care about them, so then no one will care about conservation. However, like when someone has a favorite animal, it sets a spark in their heart and they will look out more for that animal, so... with sea world it's a way of showing people and exciting them and teaching young children how amazing these animals are and sparking their imaginations so they're more willing to help with conversation and care about these animals. That's how you take a child to there or disney world, before they go, sure, they're excited but after they get back they really KNOW what it's about and won't stop talking about it for weeks because the experience of the fun and rides is what captures their hearts, same as sea world does and they won't ever forget that experience and the face to face with the amazing animal, which will lead them later to care about conservation.
Also, keep in mind, there's such things as training pools. Sometimes those places you see them are much smaller.
Little white flowers will never awaken you, not when the cold depths have all but overtaken you.
Dearest, The days are all so long,
and in the shadows I spend them all.
My heart and I long for slumber.
Slumber I'm caressing you, I bless your touch, I lust for you.
Slumber you are not a dream, Not as much as you seem.

you have valid points. however, i will never see it as right to imprison highly intelligent animals for our own entertainment. training a whale or dolphin to do flips for us is unnecessary. seeing those animals at sea world gives people false ideas about those animals. and i truly don't believe that going to sea world sparks the desire to save our oceans. if you're actually interested, you should do some research on the detrimental effects of sea world on the animals trapped there, and those in the wild. i would also suggest you watch the cove, if you haven't already. it's one of the more popular documentaries & very important - it has some references to sea world too.
