To end the disputes, this is the LAST Minecraft thread =D



To start things off i want to ask what do you guys do when you start the game? Like what do you focus on and do first? I normally destroy a bunch of trees as fast as i can and don't bother so much with coal. Since its gotten harder to find due to the changes.

Since the advent of Creative Mode, I start out in Creative Mode and build a huge fortress of Bedrock (cuz I hate Creepers) and then make some fancy stuff. I've taken a liking to a carpet of Cake and some other free stuff. Then I use Minecraft Gametype Changer.rar and mess around in Survival mode :O

As for Survival Mode, I like aiming for a Bed first so I can spawn near wherever I decided to build my base... and I only go for Coal so I can smelt some Iron stuffs
Also, as of 1.8 update or w/e, it's nice to try and farm bones off of Skeletons early so you can farm Mushrooms and Wheat!

It depends, I have been playing custom maps lately, and not been playing many normal maps. I finished SkyBlock and created my own. And I will create more custom maps aswell

I normally find a nice spot to build my house and then get wood.

I dont find a good spot, I build a 'crap shack' just to last the night in, and then explore the next day, stay in crap shack again. start building a log cabin in a better spot, burn down crap shack.

Then I will start to build a good house, and burn down the log cabin.


But since 1.8: Find NPC Village, pillage it, live in the biggest house, build a better house. Burn the village to the ground

No one understands it, but thats why people play it. If they could relate to the game, i think less people would play it

Oh has anyone found themselves spawned in the middle of an ocean??? Since 1.8 i believe there is an ocean biome. and WOW its hard to live in that thing. Me and my friend found ourselves on a small island with one tree........ thats it.... I used some cheats to see the rest of the map and well.... theres only 4 other trees and ALOT of water XD

The worst thing was we couldnt sleep which sucked since there were no Sheep ANYWHERE.
But today or what ever i was going to go swim to the biggest island we found besides our own and look for more mainland from there XD

Gosh the game is a timekiller!
