But if they're your "close friend", they would know all that stuff anyway? Why spend time and effort to put it on the internet? I can't imagine anyone would care the date of your first kiss, nevermind a close friend :s

Also, I'd like to mention that the privacy fatures do allow you to hide things in your timeline from most people except your "Close friends". I personally have spent some time with my timeline, and I make every "Life Event" viewable to only my friends except those who I listed as "Acquaintances", which is the majority of my friends. You have to be someone I somewhat know to be able to see my timeline. And I haven't put my first kiss in (well, I wouldn't have put it in even if I had known it). Many other of the firsts are ok though, like the word or voting. An I would put flight if I could remember it. But if I do put "First kiss" or "First Drink", I would make it "Close Friends Only", and I only have four people listed under that category now (probably one or two more as time goes on). Same goes for my relationship stuff (although I probably will have my relationship status be up-to date, I just won't have the history of my relationships available to anyone except those whom I trust the most.

Now, some people are actually more concerned than I am, saying that it's not OK to share, say, your surgeries. Or your illnesses (well, depends on the disease or illness). Or you overcoming a habit. What are your thoughts on this?
