Canon 350D Problems.
I reckon this will go in here, seen as though its technology.
I recently got a Canon 350D for my birthday with a 18-55mm lens. The first day I got it, it worked completely fine and nothing wrong. But on the second day I started getting problems with it and it kept coming up with Error 99 when I was taking some photos, but not on others. I didn't do anything with it, my neighbour sugested it was the contacts needing cleaned- I cleaned them and there were still problems. Got it taken to the photography shop in town and they checked it over and said the same thing. They cleaned them with some proper contact cleaning stuff and it started working properly.
The next few days it worked fine, until I tried taking one photos and it came up with the Error. I realised that it was the first time in ages I had it completely soomed out on 18. So I worked out whenever I'm trying to take a picture between 18-35 it comes up with Error 99- and occasionally when I take it on 55 the Error comes up too. Don't really want to send it off to get checked yet cause of the lights fest. in town, and there may be an easier solution.
Anyone have any ideas?
