Default Tablets

So, Tablets have been in the market for a while, and I was wondering what everyone's opinions were.

For me, the first thing that turned me away was the pricing. I mean, some were really, really expensive at least over here.

Add to that they were a little primitive.

But now, I'm extremely interested in getting one. It was the least expensive one I ever saw, and was from HTC, the Flyer.

But again, my reasons are mainly two: My current phone isn't fully holding up on it's own. And I need some portable multi-media device, and calling isn't too important.

Of all the smartphones coming out, and there are a LOT of them, the better ones are expensive, more expensive than the Flyer.

Now what I don't like about the Flyer is the screen size. The Flyer has a 7" screen, it's brilliant but it's too small to be a laptop replacement, and it's bigger than the average smartphone. And in any case, I love bigger screens.

Also, obviously there are going to be a lot more tablets entering the market. And I was of course considering upgrading to a tablet, but that would be 3 times as expensive. And I'm not sure whether I need that much power.

Also, I'm inching to wait for the PS Vita.

Anyway, I just wanted your opinions on Tablets.

I never really liked tablets personally. But that's just my personal opinion.

I like to play with my dad's thinkpad tablet. I don't know the exact model, but its nice. Big screen, good sensetivitity on the touch screen, plenty of apps to choose from with tht whole big app store.

Imo, tablets can never fully replace a laptop, but they're fine to surf the web with, typing with any tablet seems a chore to me. I hate those touch keyboards, id need a plug in USB keyboard.

Thanks! Although the Xoom is just too expensive. Also, what do you think about the Asus Transformer Prime @Shirai ?

What do you mainly use the tablet for? Web-browsing/Video watching?

Ah, I heard about Lenovo's Thinkpads. Their real good apparently, but just way too expensive. Almost double that of any other tablet. But they do have an actual OS like Windows, maybe I'm talking about the wrong tablet>

I agree, typing feels awkward without an actual keyboard, which is why I'm looking at the Asus Transformer Prime. Heard of it?

Unfortunately,most tablets are expensive.

That one looks interesting, but I can't say which one is better because their
features seem similar, even their prices are close and I think It depends on what
you need it for,I mostly read reviews on Cnet,If you want to check it out. http://reviews.cnet.com/tablets/
