How would I put my Sims 3 files onto a USB so that I'd have more space on my PC?

copy the files and .exe file over and run it from the stick in future

I don't think so. When it runs stuff it says where it is, so what if it looks in the place it was before I moved? D:

And then unzip it in the usb?

Wait, you want it in an Usb so you can play it? I doubt a USB pen has the required space to have it installed on it. Only a external disk can handle that I think. Though it depends of the GB your pen has, and how much SIMS3 requires of space.

Righttttt. Don't worry about it. I think I'll just stick some other stuff onto it instead, then.

It'll fit on a USB. I've done it before.

-Find the 'Electronic Arts' folder in your Library.

-Click it, then click again on the Sims 3 Folder that pops up.

-Quite a few files/folders will show up, containing current sims, current game, screenshots, etc.

-Copy EVERYTHING onto your USB. Anything you might have from the store, custom content,etc., or those things will all disappear from your game.

-Done

If you have a ton of shit on your computer you should see about doing a cleanup to remove the duplicate files and files you don't need.

Download WinDirStat if you want to see exactly what is taking up space. Makes finding and deleting easy.
