VB Game Programming Info & Help
Hi guys. I'm an amateur programmer in Visual Basic and I am the project leader for a game called SMB:R and I am looking for some help from anyone that knows any Visual Basic. Here is a bit about the game, media with what has been achieved so far and how anyone interested can help...
The game has 2 major "parts". There is a level editor in progress that will allow users to design their own Mario/ Platformer type game, being able to design the levels, world maps, and customize enemies, power-ups, music, backgrounds, etc. Then there will be a "Main Game Menu" section where you will be able to load in games bundled with the program another people's games from our online forum.
This game is based off of Super Mario Brothers X. The Dev Team hopes to pick up where that game left off.
If you could help us in any way that would be great. Thanks. If not, still feel free to give me comments and suggestions. (BTW the game has been in development since August 2011)
