No. It's a political maneuver. Shelving it for now allows it more of a chance of passing later. Smart move by the committees and politicians. It helps that Rep. Smith is the chairman of the judiciary committee.

Do they really fear us that much? Well, that's good but it's still cowardly.
The only thing we can do is to keep flooding their mail and phones telling them not to vote for this and to be persistent about it. Even if it's shelved we have to continue to make it known that we mean business.

People might've known what happened during the Wikileaks scandal. (Multiple sites being closed down by internet hackers)
The internet is not to be messed with, and if this keps going, the internet might strike out once again.
