My laptop is fucked. For some reason, every single time I turn it on, when I log in, it opens internet explorer (which I don't ever use) and goes to this website and then very quickly goes off it to another website which basically explains that the website it was first one is too dangerous to view.. so i'm like hm, for once, i'll tell my firewall to allow it, and so I did.. and this was the website. (Also for the record, (I can't click off it without clicking shut down and then opening loads of stuff to try and cancel the shut down. Therefore it's properly blocked my laptop)

Now.. I don't know about you, but I know I haven't been watching videos of "violence to other people and child pornographic material" and just to add to this blockage which is asking for a £100 fine. It spelt discovered wrong..

well considering if the police knew you watched child porn then they would arrest you not lock your laptop then im gonna call scam

run a virus scan, if you can't then boot up your laptop in safe mode (assuming it uses windows) and try to find the file and remove it

if all else fails call tech support

I dunno whats wrong with your laptop , but its better if you remove your Ip address from that pic for more security (;

and btw i suggest to format your laptop.

Obviously a virus: The police wouldnt contact you through your computer if you were watchild child porn, they would come to your house with a warrant and arrest you. Also, youd go to jail, not pay a fine.

Someone I knew once had this problem. You could try booting in Safe mode with Command Prompt. And then type in MSCONFIG. Find and click on the startup tab. And then uncheck the one that is probably malware. I'm not sure if that will work but it's worth a shot.

if you have a copy of windows on disk try booting up from that instead of the hard drive and repairing or restoring

Discouverd... I have had an actual thing come up from the police (unitensional) and they know that, it is something that was done at our school as a 'shit up' so the whole school had it appear on screen, to see who was lying and who wasn't. Local test, to see how people act when accused of something when they are inncoent or something like that

That screen is nothing like it.

If you pay you are a suckah to the scam. Copy and paste the URL and give it to the police for: Impersonating a law enforcer (or something like that) and scams/fraud



or if there is no URL, leave the screen open and take your laptop down to your local police station and show them what you mean

I think i found the source of the problem!
When I rebooted just then, I quickly pressed ctrl alt delete, and brought up task manager, then processes and ended any that looked fishy. One was called "Sweet IM messenger toolbar" and I ended that and I didn't get the scam thing anymore? So i'm thinking it was that?
