I usually use kiwi6.com to upload my songs.
You should copy the link that ends with an ".mp3"

A while back, a nice, young lady wrote a thorough walk through on taking a youtube video that contains a song you like, and placing it on your profile. You can find her tutorial here.

update: working on my dad's computer... don't know if that's a glitch though

It must be in an MP3 format. You might be able to find a converter on the net that converts MP4 to MP3.
