Spybot Search and Destroy like Mattster has said is good for getting spyware off your PC and preventing it coming back, Anti-Virus does not protect against spyware etc and your problem sounds like some kind of spyware problem.

Personally if I couldnt fix it I would reformat the computer and do a fresh install of windows again, but that may not be the best option for you, keep it as a last resort.

Try the MalwareBytes software, their software is really good. I cant think of anything other than what Mattster has said to be honest. Make sure MSN is not running when you scan using spybot search and destroy and also you should make sure to update it when you first run it and then "Immunize" the system which I think is a green plus button somewhere in Spybot s&d
