Sitting around feeling sorry for myself about a girl. This poem came out.

Those Words

With love's blind eye
My sight is true
My truth be told
For only you
Ease my soul
Play lover's role
This goal I seek
But dare not speak
Those words....

This lover's heart
As full each day
Beats blissfully
Cannot be stayed
There is no jest
In words that rest
On tongue that's tied
With eyes that cried
Those words...

If heaven's truth
Revealed with time
Gives hope that's bold
Of love's sublime
Sweet witness for
My soul's true core
Thus owned by you
As if you knew
Those words....

In my heart's dreams
As real as life
When passions play
Embraced by night
A space we share
This love lives there
And draws us near
So hearts can hear
Those words....

And when sun's light
Brings forth each day
The dream still real
In every way
I play the role
If truth be told
With heart still breaking
And wet palms shaking
Since still instead
I've never said
Those words.....
