Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them.

What are we not allowed to say the answer or something?

It's obvious, is it not? There is no other standalone word ending in "-gry".
Oh sure you can make jokes about the riddle but when answering the riddle directly, the answer is that there is no answer. As there are no other standalone words that end in "-gry" aside from "hungry" or "angry".

That being said I'm sure that because of this there are multiple ways to answer this question.
