^ Or those who pay attention.
Once upon a time people were not as fat and lazy as they are today.
Kids used to actually go outside and play, get fresh air.
Now all they do is stay inside and rot their brains.

Sorry, I had a limited amount of time to type last.
...rot their brains by video games and movies/tv shows that flash.
And by 'flash', I mean, cutting from scene to scene, angle to angle and whatnot.
I mean no wonder so many kids have ADD today (no offense to those who have it though).
It wouldn't be so much of a problem if these things invoked some sort of emotion or required a thought process.
Like old movies from before one was born. The older movies are, the more thought they require - typically.
And with video games and whatnot, they desensitize kids. Hell, I know 4 year old (now 5) who play rated M video games! Not only that, he's a little player. Each week a different girl is 'his girl'. Of course it's in a cute sort of way. But later on that could cause problems.
Although, that's a bit off-topic because the parents could control this - but they don't.
The point is that it's brain rotting.
And these kids are our future. Hell, we are the future and right now, I'm not very confident about it.
About being followed around by camera's.
That's actually a catch 22, if you think about it.
Let's take stores for example. If it get's to the point to raise prices, for whatever reason - usually a Union or an a + b = c mentality (price, consumer, end result - i.e. end result lowers so a, the price, is raised to make up the difference when it turn it's the more you raise it - the less people buy it so in order to keep the end result you raise the price more. Bad idea).
But anyway, so you raise prices, now you notice something is off with the inventory - people have been stealing (shoplifting).
Okay, now what? Well, you need security/camera's to catch them on tape. Thing is you have to buy the camera's. How do you do that? Raise the prices.
And even though you get the camera's... You in turn get more theft.
So the logical solution would be to lower the prices.
Well, that would have worked at one time - but now we've been so desensitized that it doesn't matter and a lot of people won't even bother to pay no matter what the cost.
And this has been proven by a study first done in the 60's and one done in the 90's.
They asked "Why shouldn't you steal?" The popular answer in the 60's was "Because it's wrong." The popular answer in the 90's was "Because I might get caught."
So in one aspect - camera's are a good thing though.
But do I agree with camera's following us everywhere? Nope.
If it's one thing I've noticed over the years though, and through History, it's that one generation of total idiots is enough to run us all into the ground forever.
And it just so happens that said idiots are lazy, not always fat, but always lazy.
Unless, of course, they have a regime... In which case they work very hard at manipulation that whole generation of idiots and then-some (the older generation for example).
Now, how do they manipulate? First, they have to create a whole generation of idiots.
How? TV, Movies, Video Games (although, not as much), School's, Music, and the Internet.
Not usually Radio though because when it's the radio, people actually listen.
Like the first televised Presidential debate. But I won't go into that.
My point is that the first step is to turn your mind into cottage cheese.
Then after that, they attack personal issues - like Abortion, Drugs, Marriages, Race, Creed - blah, blah, blah, it's been that way for the longest time - same thing every time.
But doing that get's you to vote for them. For example, say I wanted drugs legalized - say that's the most important issue to me, personally. If I were a mush-mind, then I'd go out and vote for the guy who want's to legalize it.
Now, in a round-about way I'm saying that while actual people are to blame... They are an unchanging factor. Why? Because those are the same people who want to install camera's everywhere so they can watch you wherever you go.
Since they are the unchanging, and sadly undying, factor - you have to control the methods they use.
Which is many forms of technology.
And while technology is a good thing to an extent - the more it advances, the lazier people become.
And the next thing you know, we'll be limited one kid per house-hold, camera's watching are every move, wearing shock collars so that if we don't comply to the demands of the Govt then we get brainwashed by shock, and the next thing you know - if you want a plumber to fix the pipes then you gotta wait 2 freakin' years for him to get to you.
Then behold: Individuality and freedom have been taken away.
And I'd like say sorry because I can turn anything into something political or semi-political.
This, what I just said, is called Communism. And it will inevitably come, world-wide, maybe before 400 years, maybe after. Like I said, one stupid generation is all you need.
Thing is, we've had about... 4 or 5. Not sure if I should count the 50's or not. But I'm talking about
drastically stupid.
But my main point is that if you had good things on nowadays then this wouldn't be so much of a problem.
If you wanna see an example, go watch the movie
Network and behold the power of TV.
Because "I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore!" (quote from the movie)
And that was my rant for the day.
