It couldn't work. Communism and Capitalism are two totally different things.
And I'm talking about their extreme ends. Communism is total control of anything and everything by the government. The purest form of Capitalism is just as bad because that's Anarchy, in other words, no regulation.
Communism isn't equal. It may seem equal, but it isn't. Someone is always in charge - always.
It's not a free market if said market is overly-regulated like it would be in Socialism.
How do you think Capitalists make money? If we had Communism then they wouldn't make anything because they wouldn't be self employed and we'd never advance in anything.
I'm actually for a Republic as with a Republic there is the law first then the people. With Democracy you only have the people and anything can happen with just that.

No thank you, I refuse to wanna be unionized with people who want to keep me bound without freedoms to work for the government for the sake of the government.
Ain't no way in hell am i getting screwed over.

Also, I'd like to add that a pure Utopia would involve peace without money or government.
Basically, peaceful Anarchy... but we all know that's impossible.


Technology is good, very good. If I had a life threatening problem, and I do in an indirect way, I would want technology to help me. I mean, my medical problems are only recently discovered after all.

Keeping more people alive isn't a bad thing you know.
Holy fuck, the population has decreased dramatically since the big over-population scare in the 60's.

By the way, I don't agree with robots taking over every job. Only certain jobs, but even then you need people there to make sure things stay alright.

Confederation Please

I'm on a computer but my dad uses it for bill payment and bank info. I use it when there's nothing to do. Plus computers were invented in the 40's. Not sure you call that modern.

Why would I live in the desert? I've got Northern Ontario with about every needed resource known to man.

I can see the world 400 years from now with fairly high unemployment rates, with advanced machinery taking the majority of jobs. I also see cures for things like cancer and AIDs, but I see a lot of genetic modification happening also, a bit like a film I once watched in Science in year 10 (I can't remember the name but databases of everybody's DNA were kept, and like everything that people done was based on their genetics, etc).

Some one predicted that the world is gonna end in 2012
