Doesn't, it's just a particular sect. There's Traditional Satanism and Modern Satanism. I'm the latter.

There is an abandoned church a few miles away from me; it's a very famous haunted church which faces south as opposed to north because it i frequently infested with satanists that sacrifice animals. You can hear sheep the next field over which is what they use. The fence is made from gravestones too.

I went there at night once and it was quite eery. There was "Hell is Here" written on the wall in red inside of the church. The reason it was abandoned was because it was bombed in the war. The police also stand guard there at Hallowe'en as it is a well known attraction to Satanists at that day that sacrifice. There are usually helicopters there and all sorts.

There is a difference. It's like Christians that believe in the Trinity and Christians that don't. Traditional Satanists worship Satan as an actual deity - different from Christianity's version of him, but still a deity. They are theists. Whereas Modern Satanists are atheists. We view ourselves as our own deities.

I still don't get it... If Modern Satanists are atheists then why not just call yourselves atheists. And I thought atheists didn't believe in God or Satan so it's a little contradicting there...

By the way, you'll find crazy people in every religion so I wouldn't discount what Love.Berry is saying...

Modern Satanists are atheists with specific moral beliefs that generally greatly differ from the population at large. Modern Satanism exemplifies their beliefs regarding theism and their belief in being their own god, but it also exemplifies their personal beliefs.

Sacrificing anything is strictly against Satanism. There are just people who believe that's what Satanism is and go do it to make themselves feel like tough shit.
