I think it should be determined by the states choice.
As opposed to nation-wide I mean.

i can see downsides to it, like murder over the money, and becoming addicted and losing all your money and stuff, but hey, i think its their choice

Generally legal gambling doesn't result to that though unless of course you use gambling to earn back money to give to loan sharks that is...

If drugs were legal, then I say gambling should also be legal. Otherwise, make it (and alcohol, and tobacco) just as illegal as drugs are. It's the consistent thing to do.
Personally I would say it should remain legal for everyone over 18.

They were at one point and people used them way less but then there became a problem with Moonshining and growing you own tobacco.
The mob was involved too.
So instead of cracking down on them like they should have it was deemed easier to give the criminals what they wanted.

i dont think gambling is bad, if you play with friends for low stakes, but when you get up high, you most likely will be losing ALOT of money!

And I disagree, I think gambling and drug (inc. alcohol and tobacco) issues are very, very closely related.
