I my friend think Communism is not that bad. On paper it looks, good on today's modern society. It's "disasterious." But if done properly It actually seems like a great place to be. Altough without the whole "no-freedom, job picked out for you thing." Communism isn't bad, the people that use it are.


I'd like your thoughts on it, and weither you think it's good or bad.

In theory, communism is an awesome idea, if used properly it would create a utopia. Unfortunately when put into practice it is terrible, people who work hard in agricultural areas tend to feel they should be paid more than one in say ... a position of management. A classless society cannot exist purely because no matter how even everyone is, people will still feel that they are working harder than someone else, or that they don't have 'equal' land to someone else.

The people who use/used it are sometimes the problem, as they tend to avoid developing social standards, education and general living standards. Too much is spent on military, as the societies who have used communism as a government system have had to spend billions in controlling the masses of people who are unhappy with their supposedly 'equal' share. Russia's Revolution in 1917 is a prime example of this, the lowest class of people which made up 82% of the population were unhappy and thus created a revolution to overthrow the Russian Monarchy. Once this was done very little was done to change/alter conditions that caused the revolution in the first place, only more money was spent to train/outfit new military improvements, to control a society that was basically pissed off because they had traded a poor ruler (Tzar Nicholas II) for a government system that was used incredibly ineffectively and in the long term created even more problems for the Russian people (i.e Josef Stalin and his tyrannical rule, and the Cold War in which the world could have been turned into a nuclear wasteland)

for the reasons above ... it is no good, in theory it is amazing, a classless society with total equality, in practice it is just a dictatorship which claims that all its citizens are 'equal' and those that tend to disagree with the communist leaders have a way of just 'disappearing' and then the government denies that it's organisations (secret police, police and military) have any links to the disappearances.

long story short, communism = bad

well, i hate comunism although on paper it seems preety awesome like you said ..but then, look at cuba.. it's a nightmare..

On paper, yes it seems like a good idea.
However, the government is controlling every aspect of your life.
This is not good.

2 + 2 = 5 and all that.

Basically, the government would be like God, except controlling and free will would not be good.

I don't feel like going into a rant about it, but there are examples of communism here:
Mao, Stalin, Marx, Hitler, Che, Castro, whoever is running North Korea.
To name a few. And, yes, Hitler was a communist - he and Stalin did the same exact things, only Stalin did it on a bigger scale because he was not stopped.

To name some fictional works about communism:
1984, Twilight Zone episodes (Eye Of The Beholder, The Obsolete Man, and The Number 12 Looks Just Like You).

Not to mention, there would be no advancements in anything.
Communism doesn't give insinuative for advancement.

All throughout history, Communism has failed -- what makes anyone think they can do it differently is beyond me.
Oh, and by failed I mean for all the people - except for the dictator in charge who, odds are, is a mass-murderer who kills anyone who evens thinks differently than him.

Oh, that plus, over 100 Million have died under communism - I'm talking like not naturally, they were either killed or starved to death (which is still killing because gov't wouldn't give them food).

if all the confessing Christians would live the teachings of their master, there would be only communism since the last 2000 years on this planet.

No, there would not be.
Gosh, people need to get this right:

CHARITY IS NOT COMMUNISM!

"give a man a fish, feed him for a day" - Communism
"but teach a man how to fish, feed him for a life time" - Capitalism

Charity is given because people want to - not because they have to.

Also, we are only supposed to give 10% of our earnings (to the church) - not all of our earnings, as such with communism.

nevertheless, the doctrines of the fisher at the cross are the base of the modern communism and all Christians, that don't live after it, are only bigoted hypocrites under the cross.

Just to clear something up...
Cuba isnt a nightmare.
Ive been to the richest and poorest parts and everyone is happy and has enough to live... do we need more then that?

Also the only reason it is in that state is because of america's embargo on Cuba

Hitler was the furthest from communism you could possibly be, He used the SS to hunt down and murder every communist in Germany from when he gained status of supreme chancellor of Germany right up until his death. In Hitlers book 'Mien Kampf' he states that he blieves 'communists are dogs that need to be put down'
