Putting children/teens (under 18) under what i see as house arrest isnt going to solve anything.
Keep them in the house and they will naturally rebel and cause even more problems or when they turn 18 they go crazy on nights out. Its like drinking.. dont let a kid touch a drop of alcohol and when they eventually are allowed to legally drink there the ones who go out and end up in hospital through drinking. I was allowed to drink at like 12 in serious moderation and it worked... i never get wasted.
Also the police have better things to do then run after little kids who want to stay out a little longer.
It a stupid idea to tar all young people with the same brush.

Here in Oregon, US. People 16 to 18 must return by 11. 18 you can stay out past whenever. 16 Below its 10 unless with a legal guardian.

In Australia we only have curfew for people who get into trouble with police they will put curfew on.But other then that nope and if they were to put it on it should be 0-15 =] 16 year olds PARTY!!

Aside from that, I only meant it for the kids who flat-out don't listen.
