Oh please, they BOTH spent too much money, but Obama is making Bush look like a piker!
He's doing a worse job than even Carter did!
He's a failure who only got elected because he was the first black candidate - which is also bullshit because Frederic Douglass was actually the first black man to ever get a vote for the presidency - back in the 1800's by the Republican party, I might add.
He's not doing, at all, what the people want - same for the House and Senate.
He has zero experience in anything, has taken more vacations than I could ever hope to count, can't speak worth shit and even mispronounced "Marine Corps." (you pronounce it 'core', by the way), he's attempting to tax us into prosperity - which is just like a man standing in a bucket and attempting to lift himself up by the handle.
He believes in bullshit ideas which he is trying to force on the people. And more importantly, he's ignoring the wants of the people. It's like in Rope, "he is 'more intellectual' and therefore has the 'right' to make decisions for people".
Aside from that, if you are talking about inheriting the bad economy - then don't be an idiot about it, because recessions are cyclical, they'll happen no matter what, there is no way to avoid it - it doesn't matter who is president at the time either.
The only thing you should do is wade it out, let it run it's course. However, if you attempt to fix it - this results in higher taxes and inflation, which devalues the dollar, later on.
Basically, the only actual thing he 'inherited' was the war in Iraq.
Holy shit, Bush inherited a lot more from Clinton than that and he had to clean up all of his messes, one of which was low security, which lead to the 9/11 bombings - it was Clinton's fault but he took the blame. Why? Because he has an R next to his name.
Obama inherited one thing. That's it.
Also, I'd like to add that his hope and change was very misleading, oh, we did get change... and now we only hope he gets out of there ASAP.
Of course no one smart should place all the blame on him, per-se, oh, no, the House and Senate are also to blame! Congress is who approves the money, but the Executive branch is the one who actually spends it. So Congress, all DEM I might add, is also very much to blame.
People need to open their eyes when it comes to this guy, he's not a good president, he got elected based on skin color - nothing else. Well, except for tricking independents with hope and change... and it didn't help that McCain is an idiot as well. Though, in all honesty... Obama is the best thing for the GOP right now.
Sidenote: He can't even speak to a bunch of 6th graders without a teleprompter.
Ladies and Gentlemen, our President!
However, to sum up the question... one word:
Failure.
