Well. In particular islam tends to have a lot of radicals which i absolutely hate.
But i dont mind if people practice any religion (islam, christianity, judaism etc.) as long as everyone can work together sort of without hate based on religion, i just hate when religion is what causes people to seperate.
I think in general at least in the UK we dont get to see so many moderate muslims or at least they are always overshadowed by extremism, so its hard to be unbiased when terrorism is always a threat.
As for the headscarf, in england at least women have more of a choice if they want to wear them, so how can you ban them? that is wrong because if they make that choice its not going against a human rights, its just another religious thing, same way going to a church is another practice of religion.
But other then the extremism, i am sure it is a great religion, we just dont always get to see that side of it.
Just wondering, is extremism actually promoted by Islam? I dont know cause i'm not muslim so wondering if someone could help me out more?
♥. Just another day like any other,
Nothing in the sky said run for cover,
There was no parade,
No lightsflashing,
No songs to sing along the way. ♥
Well, really the hijab issue, really was just to cover the chest and the hair, to act modest and stop attracting men, (big bummer for pervs), the Niqab wasn't even there while Muhammed lived, it was created later on, it isn't part of the religion at all, its just and extra stepping stone, plus the Hijab was hella commen in Europe in the medivel times and muhammed time, remember that even NUNS keep the tradition of the medivel european clothing and still cover what muslims cover.
Islam and the terrorist accusations is false, Islam was really the teaching of Prophet Muhammed, and he didnt abuse anyone, if you search his life and history, he was abused and shunned by the people around him, they physically and verbaly abused him, because he belived in what he said Allah (an arabic word for God) told him, the people didnt belive him and they made fun of him, the main terrorists now adays are really reacting towards politicaly need and stuff, they just want the west out of their lands, but they are doing it in the worse ways possible.
the first caliph Abu Bakr was the prophet's closest friend and staunchest supporter. He gave the following advice to the leader of an army unit that was heading to Syria, and his advice was based on his knowledge of what the prophet (PBUH) taught: "Stop, O people, that I may give you ten rules for your guidance in the battlefield. Do not commit treachery or deviate from the right path. You must not mutilate dead bodies. Neither kill a child, nor a woman, nor an aged man. Bring no harm to the trees, nor burn them with fire, especially those which are fruitful. Slay not any of the enemy's flock, save for your food. You are likely to pass by people who have devoted their lives to monastic services; leave them alone."Not only are Muslims clearly instructed not to harm any innocent individuals, we are also clearly instructed not to harm the infrastructure and economy of any land. Clearly this is in stark contrast to the acts of the terrorists who purposely target the civilians and the economics of a country.
The last point that I would like to make is that Islam is clearly against suicide and hence suicide bombing. There are some Muslim scholars who use the example of battles where the army vowed to fight to their death as evidence that suicide bombings are allowed. However, that is a highly debatable point and I personally feel that we should look to the Qur'an for the answer rather than individual's decrees. So, let's see what the Qur'an has to say about suicide. [Qur'an 4:29-31] O you who believe! Do not eat up your wealth in vanities among yourselves. But let there be among yourselves trade conducted in mutual good will. Nor kill or destroy yourselves, for God has been most merciful to you. If any do that in rancor and injustice, soon shall we cast them into the fire, and that is easy for God. If you but avoid the most heinous of the things which are forbidden to do, we shall expel out of you all the evil in you and admit you to a gate of great honor.
So, when we look at the Qur'an and Hadith we see that terrorism is clearly forbidden in Islam. People who hijack airplanes and crash them into buildings are not martyrs in Islam, they are people who are hijacking our religion and killing many innocent people. That is not the way of Islam; Islam is fair and protects the lives and properties of innocent people. Just because somebody does something in the name of Islam doesn't mean that the person is a Muslim or the act is Islamic. Please read the Qur'an so that you can find the truth for yourself.

I'm a Muslim & I'm proud of it...
I just can't explain this religion because
I myself don't know everything about Islam.
Islam is a big world you need to be patient &
smart to swim on it.
the other thing why people deny because they didn't
see it from the inside they just saw the skin of it & judge
I myself i don't know anything about other religions because
i didn't search so i can't judge if the religion is fake or not
& which one is real...
and really i don't care if ppl didn't accept Islam as a religion
it's enough to be a Muslim..
Islam didn't force anyone ti join at or to accept it as a religion
If you want to know anything about Islam or you have any questions
