Well, no, I agree with that. Esp. considering that the money doesn't even go to rebuilding. It always seems to disappear... Point being the last time we helped Haiti. It did nothing.

However, I do feel sad for the people and I'm sad to see such horrible things happen.
I would not be so cold-blooded to say it's good as it lowers the population though.

Also, it seemed as though you were talking about one huge natural disaster - like Armageddon - as you said 'earth' and not Chile.

The Chile earthquake has killed roughly 700 people and had a magnitude of 8.8.
Haiti had a magnitude of 7.2 and has killed 200,000. The reason that more
people died in the Haiti disaster is because Haiti is a less economically
developed country. Chile has a better infastructure so therefore the impact of the
earthquake wasn't as bad as Haiti.
