Default Monetary vs. Bartering System.

Which one do you think is better?

Monetary: More corrupted and less valued way to say I pay you this for that.

Bartering: Trading of other goods and services for other goods and services such as: You pet me, I pet you. or I'll give you a loaf of bread for 6 eggs.

Me I support Bartering more. Because EVERYONE I mean EVERYONE in the world has bartered. But not everyone has used money.

Pro and Cons of both.

Bartering Pros:

Less crime, corruption, no fiancial market = no fiancial crash, everyone's done it, VERY effienct in every type of community, taxes don't exist.

Cons: Need to have someone that agrees to the trade, more diffcult to use, values are ripped-off sometimes.

Monetary Pros: Easier to use, Was valued by gold (now just a ounce of cut wood's worth.), Looked nice and flashy.

Cons: More crime, power, corruption. There's poor, middle-class, rich class.
2% of the population controls 98% percent of the world's weatlh (no joke.), Fiancial market = fiancial crash = loss of jobs.

Let's not forget bartering existed since man was born, monetary has only come so recently and look at the damage done.

Which one do you perfect.

I do like the bartering idea. It makes things more accessible to many more people and the whole corruption thing is a fair point too. This problem with it though is governments. Governments need some sort of income in order to provide national services (health care etc.) and with a bartering system, I don't see a way that this would work. They would have to develop a fair way to collect the right amount of assets from each person, effectively making a currency.

You make a very good point.

Hmmmm.. Well there's always a way but it is more diffcult. Hmm... Well what if these doctors worked to help people (Because some doctors work today for just the money.) and in return the society builds them houses, there's a food bank (Or in our case a Storage facility) and for the doctors them the farmers provide the goverment with food and some clothing. while the farmers keep their land and belongings. So there's food and clothing and shelter for the citizens. This seems very complicated. .

Monetary.
Because some things can't be traded in mere goods.

Monetary gives people freedom to buy what the want.

Like, iPods for example. You think someone is gonna sell that for bread.

Goods would be easier. However, it restricts moving forward.
People don't work for peanuts in other words.

More risk, more reward.

Also because some people have nothing of value to trade.

If monetary wasn't the best use, I doubt we would have ever started using it.

I like monetary as it give more flexibility for pleasure rather than just for survival (food, water, etc).
Housing as well, if one needs a house but has nothing to trade, what shall he do?
Money gives something worthless to trade because it can buy things.

Also, payment equals service.
Doctors need to be trained. Teachers need payment.
Who pays the teachers? The students. But they have nothing to trade.
People won't work for food alone. We have pleasures, like music, tv, movies, computers.
You think PCs would be built for mere food? I think not.

Money betters things as a whole. Yes there is more corruption.
But, remember, apples are not always so sweet on the inside as they look on the outside.
You could always get rotten foods and you couldn't prove to anyone who gave you it.
There is risk and reward for all things.
People like equal value.
Bread for bread does no good. You would only get what you have, it's restricting.
Plus you run a risk of a bad deal.
Take something worthless and give it value and you have something worth trading.
Less overall risk in trade. More risk in corruption. And more people win.

Also, more food goes in mouths this way.
Why? Charity because people can afford it.
