I gotta admit... the cartoons I used to watch are soooo much better than the runnish they watch now. Like I was a massive fan of Postman Pat.. now they play BooBah. WTF!

The music was better too. JonasBrothers, Timbaland, Usher, 50 Cent all them... they;ve really ruined what music means. Now music is all about sex, drugs, money, girls... I liked the life stuff better. "I wanna make love in dis club". How can that be legal? Really?

Better is subjective.

And no matter how much you want old stuff back, it's not going to happen. Things change.

If you want the old stuff back so much, then stop bitching and do something about it.

I liked the cartoons I grew up on, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, things like that.
I also like Looney Tunes.

Well, if you wanna get technical.... that's what old music was about to. It was just sung differently.
Sex was less obvious, drugs because over half the artists back then were on drugs (I Am The Walrus, anyone?), money - not so much, but girls... oh, they used to sing about girls all the time (Hotel California, anyone? That song is about a whore house.)

But back in those days, it wasn't so obvious.

I wouldn't say news was better... actually, quite the contrary, I find it to be the same.
But now, you have all sorts of news - including 24 hour news - which didn't used to exist.
Remember Vietnam? The news made it out way worse than it actually was by bad mouthing soldiers who loved this country and by selling you negative propaganda.
I take that rather personally as my uncle fought in Vietnam.
So I hate CNN, NBC, BSNBC (MSNBC), all those main-stream places.

I hate modern cars as the old ones were built safer.
I dislike a lot of modern music, unless it's good.
I really dislike a lot of modern cartoons - I mean really, Flapjack? Chowder? Johny Test? *gags*
Modern shows though, it's give and take really. I like old ones, new ones, anything that's good.

Old isn't bad or good and neither is new. It's not the time periods of the show, it's the show itself.

Yeah!! its so sad, i realise my kids arent gonna watch the stuff i did.
Popeye the sailor man, wacky races, tom and jerry, thomas the tank engine, powefrpuff girls.. all of that. hehe.
Now they have stuff like. Kim possible. for real??

But with stuff like fashion, old is definately becoming the new. sneakers, high waisted skirts and trousers.

I LOVE the music these days but i miss some of the shows i use to watch but i still like these days shows but some are just shiet.
